Serato Sample Catalina Installer
- Fast forward to now, I was able to wipe my machine and now have Catalina installed. The issue I'm running into is that when I connect my DDJ-1000 SRT, the hardware doesn't work because it says that my 'Serato DJ Pro trial has expired'. The DDJ-1000 SRT should automatically work with Serato, and grant all features of a Pro License.
- Apple Music (Catalina) and Serato - metadata syncing issues maybe someone has encountered this and can help me out. I got a new 16' MBP and I'm trying to migrate my itunes collection to Apple Music (as well as move to an external).

MacOS 10.15 Catalina is now supported for use with Serato Studio 1.3.1. We strongly recommend you check compatibility of your plug-ins & any hardware you may be using with Serato Studio, before upgrading to macOS 10.15 Catalina. Many plug-in manufacturers do not currently support macOS 10.15 Catalina.
- Beatgrids - Ensure your samples sync perfectly to your project with Beatgrids. This will also improve features like Find Samples and Slicer, which use Beatgrids to determine correct timing throughout the sample.
- Glide Knob - Use the Glide Knob to get a ‘bending’ effect between pads when Keyboard Mode is activated.
- Serato DJ Cue Point Autoset Mode - Cue Points from Serato DJ will now carry over to Serato Sample - perfect for turning live flips into DJ edits.
- General improvements - Including more parameters for host Automation, like levels or velocity, an improved interface, and improved overlapping Cue Point display.
